Graph Guide

First I want to encourage soldiers and veterans that are contemplating suicide to turn to Jesus.  He does love us, and He does give peace and joy enough to get us through the harsh times to those that trust in Him.  Although even for wanna-be Christian such as myself, I often find myself seeking natural herbal remedies during my lowest points.  I think I have to give credit to both God and cannabis for keeping me from going crazy and shooting someone during my time in the military.  For those of you who refuse to believe in Jesus, and are struggling with suicide or going crazy, then I strongly encourage the smoking of cannabis.  Contrary to popular opinion, cannabis is not addictive, and is very relaxing, calming, and both medically and spiritually helpful.  Throughout my eight years of service, I found myself smoking cannabis quite frequently.  Many are worried about the urinalysis, but I have designed a graph to help you pass.  It's easy as drinking water and preemptive urination.  I passed every test using this method.  The less weight you are, the faster your system cleans up.  The more weight you are, the more water you should drink.  This graph is based on the 180lb soldier.

Cutting aid to soldiers and veterans?!!!

How about we cut back research and development instead of screwing those who are sacrificing their lives for this country.  There are dozens of ways to cut back military without gutting the military or taking away from soldiers and veterans.  What do you think is going to happen when you keep pissing on soldiers and veterans...  I am warning you right now it's going to lead to a soldier or veteran rampage.

Excerpt 2 - Horrible Money Management

    Horrible Money Management

One of the biggest negatives of the military and the primary root cause of our skyrocketing suicide count is the horrible money management which results in poor housing, food, recreational facilities
, and moral boosting programs especially in foreign countries such as Korea where soldiers need them the most. The food at Ft. Huachuca where I spent the majority of my active duty career was very dissatisfactory. The majority of soldiers chose to spend money from their own pockets rather than eat at the post chow halls. While I cannot complain much about the usual breakfast or lunch, supper, however, was often leftover lunch. Granted, the food provided for those deployed to Iraq was exceptional, but many soldiers everywhere else are just out of luck. There many days when a decent meal was the only positive thing one had to anticipate, but at Ft. Huachuca one often didn’t even have that. Soldiers are repeatedly being threatened with reduced or stopped pay because of funding issues. The Army has two programs known as B.O.S.S. (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers) and M.W.R (Moral, Welfare, and Recreation) which were specifically designed to improve and sustain the moral of soldiers away from home. These programs in South Korea and at Fort Huachuca were virtually non-existent. In Korea I took over as the company B.O.S.S. representative in an attempt to help soldiers, but I was not able to do much except inform fellow soldiers of over-priced week-long trips to China which no one had time for due to our busy training schedule. I was first exposed to "Moral, Welfare, and Recreation" buildings during my deployment to Iraq in 2004, and they were incredible. The M.W.R facilities at my South Korean base and my next duty station at Ft. Huachuca were worthless, which is ironic since both were established long before the Iraq invasion. These facilities were run by civilians and closed early. There were no other recreational facilities for my unit besides the gym. I believe this is why the majority of soldiers in South Korea were heavy drinkers; I know it was true for me.

Solution:

We can ABSOLUTELY cut back our military budget in order to better take care of soldiers and veterans without "gutting" the military. We do not need a thousand bases outside our country. We do not need to be spending eighty billion on research and development when soldiers aren’t even receiving decent food. We do not need to be making tanks against cave hiding towel-heads. War is now managed by air superiority and small elite forces. We can save billions more by playing a more defensive role instead of bombing, invading, and establishing a military presence in every country with whom we have problems.

Excerpt 1]-"Problem 2

2. Locking fresh high school graduates into six-eight year contracts, especially during double war-time.

The biggest problem most young recruits fail to grasp about multi-year military contracts is that there is no real escape outside insanity or debilitating injury, which is exactly why so many soldiers are turning to suicide.  Those stuck in four, six, or eight year contracts preparing for their third or more deployment need to be offered a humane way out.  Not too many can handle war.  Fewer still can handle back-to-back wars.   Something has to change NOW because every suicide is one too many.

Solution: If the government would limit the average contract of seventeen-nineteen year olds from two to four years respectively, I guarantee the suicide rate will immediately decline.

Warning: Emergency!

I'm just a poor southern country boy who joined the United States Army immediately after the attacks of 9/11 and spent the next eight years of my life serving my country, including two year-long foreign deployments to Iraq and Korea.  I forced my exit from the military before a deployment to Afghanistan because I was miserable, I was disgusted with how soldiers were being treated, and I realized that someone should get out and write about it.

And so I have.

In my book, "Dark Side of the Army," not only do I highlight the critical problems behind our sky-high soldier suicide rate, but I offer common sense solutions including my own nonprofit, a unique, completely "green," refuge and rehab for struggling veterans towards which I hereby pledge ALL profits.   In this book, I also publicly come out with, for the first time ever, my own ridiculous and outrageous experiences in the military, such as the time I was verbally and physically abused behind closed doors with no cameras by "special agents" who even stole important personal documents including my social security card just to harass me.  And this was just one incident out of many.

Soldiers are NOT being treated properly, and they are scared to get out because of this failing economy.  In 2012 we saw the total number of suicides pass the latest number of war casualties for a total of 349 active duty soldier suicides. The major changes needed have to happen from the outside because soldiers are silenced by the same system that enslaves them, too ashamed or intimidated to speak out.  As for the soldiers getting out, they are having serious trouble fitting back into society and finding jobs which has recently led to an average of twenty-two veteran suicides a day.  So please support my book and non-profit because we need to raise awareness of this problem and together we can make a difference.  Help out today and purchase your own e-copy today at the link at the top right of the page.  Check out the blog list at the top right as well for more information about Rowe's Refuge and Rehab.
